New Oaks of Rockford Development to Provide Premier Living Experience for 55 and Up!

The Oaks of Rockford, a new premier manufactured home community, creates a unique housing opportunity for those 55 and older.

Located just minutes from the art, cuisine and entertainment of Grand Rapids, and upscale downtown Rockford, the Oaks of Rockford allows residents to keep their current lifestyle, while minimizing some responsibilities of home ownership. Lawn maintenance, access to a million-dollar clubhouse, on-site customer service and planned activities are just a handful of the pet-friendly community’s perks.

Because the community is new, homeowners have the opportunity to design their homes from the ground up. “Model Corner” provides prospective clients with an idea of what their homes can be as experienced sales staff walk clients through the purchasing process. This ensures every detail of the new home is customized to suit the preferences of the homebuyer. Homes include two or three bedrooms, garages or carports and sodded lots. Home prices start from $119,900.

The Oaks of Rockford is being constructed and managed by Brian Fannon, a developer with more than 30 years of experience in the manufactured home industry. He says he and his partners Ed Zeman and Dee Pizer (both of Zeman Homes and Neighborhoods) saw the need for a dynamic 55 and older community in the metropolitan hub of West Michigan.

“We’ve always wanted to develop a premier community for those who are 55 and over, and this 200-acre site in the Rockford-area gave us the chance to fulfill our lifelong dream,” Fannon says. “We know residents will see the benefit in moving to a luxury community with the lifetime CPI-based protection of monthly fee increases where they can enjoy more than 40 acres of outdoor recreation space and easily travel to nearby hot spots.”

The Oaks of Rockford is located at the northeast corner of M-57 (14 Mile Road, NE) and Ritchie Avenue, about 2.5 miles east of US 131.
